My Senior Thesis

I finally put it online

A bunch of drawings, some old some New

So I just graduated and I now find myself with an abundance of time. Today I was going through a bunch of my old drawings looking for anything that I could put in my portfolio. Its slim pickings, I don't have as many polished drawings as I was hoping for. Almost of the the drawings below probably won't make the cut, but here are a bunch of my favorite drawings. They range from figure drawings, to illustrations I did for the Loyolan, to drawings I doodled at home for fun.

This was an illustration that I started first semester junior year, I never finished it.

These are some comics I did for the school paper. I have to draw them fast cause no one gives me enough time to work on them. So usually I do them in less than an hour. But Now I am pulling all nighters on the day they assign them so i can spend more time on them and make them less shitty.


I don't know why they have me do political cartoons. I know nothing of politics or economics. I don't even know what this comic is all about.


I didn't color the background within the lines intentionally cause I think it looks cool, and I like to think that when it goes to print someone thinks that the color registration is off on the printer.

Here is another image from my thesis.  Apparently this guy is a baby enthusiast.  I used my new pencil on this guy, its oil based.  I like this guys expression a lot.

A few more backgounds

So its Christmas break here at LMU. Everyone is off back at home. And where am I, you ask? Well I am in the Animation Lab still working on Backgrounds. Anyways here are a few more of them. I have not counted how many I have done recently, last I counted it was somewhere in the fifties. Hopefully I am in the sixties.

Update: Just did a count I am now at 63 backgrounds

Danger: frogs attack!!! Episode II

So I hope that all that check my blog, if there are any, have had a chance to view the first installment of Danger: Frogs Attack. Its a marvelous little video that my buddy Brian Engh made. If you have yet to, check some of my earlier posts for a link.

Recently Brian Engh has made another installment. In keeping with the tradition of such films as Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back and The Dark Knight, this film is truly greater than the original.
